Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission is designated by the United States Department of Commerce-Economic Development Administration as an Economic Development District (EDD). As an Economic Development District, the Commission prepares a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy to identify goals and strategies that strengthens the current and emerging economic strengths of the region.
The staff is experienced in grant writing assistance for public infrastructure needs which support job creation and private investment growth. The staff also administers revolving loan fund dollars designed to support small business and entrepreneurs with capital to grow. These businesses create employment opportunities and leverage private investment.
